Safilo And Marc Jacobs renewed Their Global Eyewear Licensing Agreement

Safilo Group and Marc Jacobs announced the early renewal of their multi-year global licensing agreement for Marc Jacobs branded eyewear through December 2031.



New York : Since the inception of this partnership in 2004, the two have fruitfully collaborated to make Marc Jacobs an iconic milestone in the eyewear category. In January 2024, Safilo Group and Hugo Boss announced the renewal of their global licensing agreement for the Boss and Hugo Eyewear collections until December 2030.

Both brands have worked together to gain market share with Boss Eyewear through a unique and compelling product proposition. Safilo Group and Amazon.com come together to announce the launch of new Carrera smart glasses with Alexa in September 2023. The smart glasses with two iconic frames blended with Safilo's Italian design and Alexa technology are only available for the US market.

Carrera smart glasses come with open-ear audio technology to send sound directly without covering the ears. The smart glasses provide up to six hours of continuous media playback or talk time with a full battery charge.
